Traffic Generation - Using One Site to Generate Traffic to Another

There are some occasions when you need to send traffic from one site to another, and don't want to use a redirect. The most often of these is when someone realizes that they need a lead capture page rather than just a typical website, and they don't want to trash the one they already built.

Another reason for this is that after getting started and paying for a long term on their domain registration someone realizes that they have not chosen a keyword optimized domain name. Perhaps you simply have a site with a better page rank than the one you need to promote.

Whatever your reason, traffic generation between sites is one of the easiest things you can accomplish. One option is to turn the site into a blog, or at least add a blog to it. This will allow you a forum for posting informational content while linking to the lead capture page or other website.

Another option is to create a sales letter or opportunity page.

The sales letter method is often used when working with multiple websites. You can build several websites with keyword optimized domains and create a different sales letter for each of them. In the end, they all point to the same lead capture page or website.
